Event Summary | During the session we will look in detail at each of the expected and greater depth standard statements for writing in the Teacher Assessment Framework at the end of KS2 exploring strategies and ideas for teaching. |

Event description | This course focuses on the assessment statements in the Teacher Assessment framework considering a range of strategies for teaching and embedding them within a year 5 or year 6 classroom. With reference to the KS2 writing exemplification materials we will look at each statement in turn, exploring ideas for teaching and the evidence needed to demonstrate that pupils have achieved it. Particular attention will be given to exploring a range of contexts in which the skills and knowledge can be taught and applied. |
